Field Services

Field services require dispatching qualified staff to perform the specific assignments requested by a customer. Benchmark has access to national staffing networks representing over 8,000 resources with verified certifications, licenses and background checks. Field services are performed during or after business hours, with or without a customer present onsite. In each case, the service professionals are managed by Benchmark. It is always an objective that when in the field, the work performed is unnoticed with exception to the results.

Site surveys provide a foundation to thorough planning. Whether the objective is to inventory currently installed equipment or to ensure new equipment will physically fit and can be supported by the infrastructure, our surveys are all customized to meet the specific needs of the project. Dimensions, electrical outlets, network outlets, cabling requirements and any installation challenges are identified as well as staging areas for the delivery and pickup of equipment. The deliverable is a document that takes the guesswork out of an installation.

 

Field Upgrades

Benchmark can provide customer field upgrades that may include operating system upgrades, application installations, adding or replacing peripherals, firmware upgrades or engineering changes per manufacturer specifications. The upgrades can be scheduled or may be critical in nature and require immediate response to resolve a product defect or application anomaly in the field from OS to firmware relative to the equipment and organizational needs. In regards to hardware, Benchmark has the resources and skill sets to perform the upgrade with the least impact to your business. Regardless of whether the work needs to be performed during the day or after hours and weekends, Benchmark has successfully managed thousands of site improvements and hundreds of thousands device changes and improvements from banking conversions to network conversion with little to no impact to you or your customer.

No longer does break fix simply mean a dispatch of a tech and a part. It has become a dynamic support model in today’s business requirements. Given that most enterprises now have unique support needs across varying lines of business, Benchmark can provide a custom support model that addresses the need to have device down time reduced to a minimum. Benchmark provides onsite support as well as a depot repair model and express exchange or any combination thereof.  We provide PC and server hardware repair and maintenance support for ALL major brands of PC servers, laptops, storage equipment, MFP’s, printers and plotters. Benchmark offers a wide variety of plans and service options custom tailored to meet your needs. Be it a server, laptop, a workstation or printer, Benchmark has the resources and tooling required to expedite the repair.

Benchmark can provide an analysis of the technology in place or required to assure the customer room for growth as well as management and flexibility. We implement project planning along with all configuration, installation and testing. Benchmark resources are available for the gamut of network services from a simple rack installation to VoIP implementations across a network.

  • Kiosks
    Kiosks are now a part of our everyday marketplace reflecting multiple aspects of a customer’s interaction or experience whether it be financial, retail, transportation or simply informational. Benchmark can manage the installation from site survey, logistics, and site prep to the end user training and device support post installation. We can also provide preventative maintenance on the device itself as well as the modular components within. Regular visits to the device will increase up time, as well as minimize a poor customer experience if any portion of the device is not functioning as it should.
  • Digital Signage
    Benchmark offers all services relative to digital displays, screens and mounting from planning and scheduling through the installation and configuration. We continue our service with the testing of said signage as well as the content displayed and will work with your internal teams to assure that it functions and displays the media as designed and intended.

    Cash dispensers and recyclers are extending their role in cash automation to help secure cash, establish better controls, expedite accurate cash handling and provide integration to other applications. Benchmark has expertise in planning for installations to ensure that proper moving equipment is used, and the devices are properly installed, configured and tested for end user operation.
